Arumat

A hot-blooded hero in his late 20s, this human arrived in Bandia with no recollection of his past. His journey began in the chaotic city of Frohl, where his first moments were anything but peaceful. Abducted by a group of slavers, he was forced into brutal labour in a mine north of Frohl, enduring hardships that nearly broke him. It was there that he met two pivotal figures: Girish, a steadfast ally, and Styx, a cunning dark slime.

Styx introduced him and Girish to the power of Imagination, a mysterious force unique to Bandia, and orchestrated their escape from the clutches of slavery. But Styx’s motives were far from altruistic; the dark slime had his own cryptic reasons for keeping the hero close, sparking a dangerous dynamic. Ultimately, Girish’s quick thinking saved him from falling under Styx’s manipulative grasp.

Though free, his mind remains shackled by his forgotten past. Fragmented memories haunt him—visions of wars and unspeakable horrors that hint at a life once filled with conflict and strife. Determined to uncover the truth, he sets out on an epic journey across Bandia, searching for a way to restore his memories and, perhaps, return to Earth. However, as his journey progresses, he starts to question whether uncovering his past will bring him blessings or drawbacks.

Girish

A hyena hunter from the proud La Bestia race, Girish is a lively and compassionate ally who quickly became a vital part of Arumat's journey. Despite his tribe shunning him for his perceived weakness, Girish’s unwavering devotion to the hunt, inspired by his goddess Savannah, kept him resolute. Girish's unbridled passion for hunting exceeded all anticipations, encapsulating his conviction that every obstacle presents an opportunity for adventure.

Girish first crossed paths with Arumat in the grim confines of a mine cell, where both were imprisoned. Under the tutelage of  Styx, Girish learnt to wield the power of Imagination, a skill that became crucial to their escape. However, when Styx revealed his ulterior motives, Girish stepped up, saving Arumat from the dark slime's grasp and solidifying their bond.

With no grand goal or purpose of his own, Girish chose to follow Arumat, guided by an inexplicable sixth sense that this man was destined for greatness. In Arumat, he saw the promise of the adventure he had always craved—a chance to prove himself, not only as a hunter but as a worthy companion.

Jumza

Jumza, a timid and gentle slime, became an unexpected yet invaluable member of the crew. Her journey began in desperation, as she sought any clue about her missing husband. Deceived by the notorious bandit brothers, she was promised critical information in exchange for luring fresh prey to them from Kuweni. Trusting their word, Jumza led Arumat and Girish into a trap, only for the tables to turn when the bandits were defeated in the ensuing conflict.

With the bandits—the only link to her husband's whereabouts—gone, Jumza was left adrift, her hopes shattered. Confused and uncertain of her next steps, she teetered on the edge of despair. However, it was Girish, with his boundless compassion, who extended a hand of friendship, rekindling the hope she thought she had lost.

Now traveling with the group, Jumza has found a renewed purpose. Her journey is no longer just about survival but about finding her husband and reigniting the love they once shared. Though timid, her quiet determination and inner strength make her a cherished ally, proving that even the gentlest souls can find courage in the face of uncertainty.

Zeus

A formidable wolf from the La Bestia race, known as the White Death, was both feared and respected for his prowess. His stark white fur served as a chilling omen, the last thing his enemies would see before meeting their end. Once a loyal servant to Solomon, a minister in Wolheim, he acted as both executioner and messenger. Tasked with bringing Arumat into Solomon’s fold, he sought the hero’s aid in orchestrating an uprising against Queen Doriessa, the ruler of the land.

However, Arumat soon uncovered Zeus’s true allegiance. Far from a mere servant of Solomon, he was a cunning double agent working with a covert faction known as The Liberators of Bandia. Alongside Maraka, a native of Bandia, he trained Arumat, honing his skills and preparing him for the battles ahead. Together, they reversed Solomon's fortunes, uncovering the minister's deceit and impeding his schemes.

Following the unsuccessful rebellion, Zeus disappeared, leaving only unanswered questions in his wake. His disappearance remains a mystery, but his legacy as a fierce warrior and enigmatic ally lingers, a reminder of the complex alliances and hidden agendas that define Bandia’s tumultuous landscape.

Maraka

Maraka, an Ue of exceptional fighting prowess and celebrated as the Champion of Hydel, is a figure shrouded in mystery. Beneath his reputation as a formidable warrior lies his secret role as one of the founding leaders of The Liberators of Bandia, a faction devoted to a singular goal: ensuring that those who were unwillingly brought to Bandia could one day return to their homeworlds.

Maraka's mission stems from a deep sense of justice and compassion, driving him to challenge the oppressive forces that exploit Bandia’s displaced inhabitants. In his quest, he forged an alliance with Arumat, acknowledging the hero's potential to transform their struggle for freedom. With Arumat’s help, Maraka extended his influence into Wolheim, rallying the oppressed and inspiring hope among its people. Together, they faced formidable opponents such as the manipulative minister Solomon, effectively targeting the core of the oppressive regime.

Maraka’s unwavering resolve and exceptional combat skills have made him a symbol of resistance in Bandia. Though his path is fraught with danger, his vision of liberation and his commitment to justice continue to inspire those who dream of a world free from tyranny.

Solomon

Solomon, a cunning and ambitious minister in Wolheim, was once a loyal subject to Queen Luemine, sister to the current ruler, Queen Doriessa. After Luemine's untimely death, Doriessa ascended to the throne, plunging the city into turmoil. Outwardly, Solomon appeared to be a man of the people, rallying opposition to the queen with promises of restoring order and claiming the throne for himself.

However, beneath this facade lay a more sinister agenda. Solomon was secretly an agent of the Followers of Aves, a faction devoted to spreading a new religion by any means necessary. His true aim was to force this faith upon the citizens of Wolheim, consolidating both power and influence under the guise of religious zealotry.

Solomon’s plans unraveled with the arrival of Arumat, whose intervention exposed the minister's duplicity. The hero, alongside the Liberators of Bandia, thwarted Solomon’s schemes, striking a decisive blow against his manipulative reign. In the climactic confrontation, Solomon met his end at Arumat’s hand, marking the fall of a treacherous fox whose ambition and betrayal nearly consumed Wolheim.

Nobile

In the city of Kuweni, Nobile, a priest of the Shajar race, was once the most revered figure among the Followers of Aves. Queen Luemine, cautious of this religion, allowed its practice only within Kuweni's borders, refusing to make it the dominant faith. Nobile accepted these terms, but his virtue turned to corruption as he began extorting money from the citizens, promising protection from a bandit group that he secretly conspired with. These bandits, in reality, were part of a plot led by Solomon to overthrow Queen Doriessa. When Arumat, by sheer chance, was kidnapped by the bandits, he inadvertently defeated them, throwing the coup into disarray. Furious at this failure, the Cardinal of the Followers of Aves ordered Nobile to assassinate Arumat to restore their plans. However, Nobile met his end at the hands of Zeus, the White Death, further dismantling the conspiracy and leaving the Cardinal's ambitions in ruins.

Queen Doriessa

Doriessa, known as the Puppet Queen, assumed the throne of Wolheim after the death of her beloved sister, Queen Luemine. Unlike her fair and compassionate predecessor, Doriessa ruled through manipulation and fear. Unloved and distrusted by her people, she resorted to dark means to maintain control. Using threads she created, she bound the minds and wills of her citizens, forcing them to revere and adore her in a fabricated reality of loyalty and devotion.

Her iron grip on the city drew the ire of Solomon, who sought to overthrow her for his own gain, though his plot ultimately failed. It was Arumat, with his cunning and resourcefulness, who orchestrated a plan to isolate the queen and confront her. During the confrontation, it was Girish who uncovered the horrifying truth: threads emanating from Doriessa, connecting her to her subjects and enslaving their minds. Girish severed the threads, breaking her hold over the city.

Stripped of her control and the false love she had constructed, Doriessa’s fragile psyche shattered. Overwhelmed by despair, she succumbed to the Dunkel, her once-luminous presence fading into feral madness. Arumat, recognizing the futility of her condition, left her to her fate. In her feral form, Doriessa fled into the sewers of Wolheim, vanishing from sight. The Puppet Queen, once a feared manipulator, became a tragic shadow of her former self, her fate a grim reminder of the perils of seeking control through deceit.
